One certainty at all of them, however, is that we're ALWAYS presented with food (and where applicable, drink) menus as we're seated. They sauce was very interesting, it is a bolognese style as many have stated which was not my issue at all, however the sauce seemed to lack flavor, as it if had no seasoning whatsoever, not even salt. The Beijing chicken and beef with oyster sauce were also on point. Panda Express's fried rice is better.4. The texture was better than any other menus we had that night. For our entree, we had the chili pork and green prawns (just shrimp). The downfall of Mr. Chow (aside from price) was their lack of adequate desserts that impress and the ridiculous prices of cocktails. The staff is always amazing and attentive. It was plenty and we even had leftovers. The duck, at $48.00, consisted of 2 small dried out and gristly duck legs on the bone. The food itself wasn't so bad. The staff was attentive and helpful. The crispy beef was essentially batter and the meat was nowhere to be seen. Although the food tasted good, the portions were extremely small and very expensive. There was no disclaimer that they would be charging me $3/pp for this which ended up amounting to $93. For main get velvet chicken, firey beef or crispy beef (this one is fried and my fav), and the duck is pretty good too. MR CHOW Noodles are served with a sweet and spicy pork sauce and they can also be made with a vegetarian option. OMG. Nine season prawns- This had some flavors but nothing interesting. At many points we didn't see a single server in sight. Maybe it was the lighting. I would recommend this option - fun to try many things and very reasonably priced, however, note that portions are small. No plans to ever visit again. This is definitely a place you go to for the food and not the crowd. No, it's not super authentic Chinese food, but that's not what you come here for. It was just ice cream, so there's not much to say there. This is my first time at Mr. Chow and I truly enjoyed the experience. The service wasn't that great either. The waiter saw my plates and forks and nonchalantly said "oh we can use the plates here" and I had the impression that I wouldn't be charged. Honey walnut shrimp. OHHH MY GOD! There were plastic barriers separating the tables. To start, they were pretty chintzy on the wine pours. The chicken satay was unbelievable - MUST.ORDER.
